Born around 1955 in Tibati, Mrs SADOU DAOUDOU née LADY BAWA hails from the Djerem Division, Adamawa Region in the Republic of Cameroon.
After undergoing university studies from 1975 to 1980, she obtained a Degree in Law and Economic Science. From 1980 to 1988, she studied in the Cameroon Institute of International Relations, where she obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in International Relations.
Prior to her appointment in December 2008 as member of the Electoral Board of Elections Cameroon, Mrs SADOU DAOUDOU née LADY BAWA had held the following positions:
• Social and Cultural Affairs Adviser at the Governor’s Office for the Adamawa Region, from 1988 to 1999;
• Director of the University Welfare Centre of Ngaoundere, from 1999 to 2007;
• Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the University of Ngaoundere, from 2007 to 2008.
Thanks to two decrees from the President of the Republic, Mrs Sadou Daoudou, née Lady Bawa, was appointed as a member of the Electoral Board. She took oath on 29 January 2009 before the Supreme Court, sitting as the Constitutional Council: “I swear to fully and faithfully discharge my duties and to exercise my office without fear or favour in accordance with the Constitution and laws in force, to ensure the confidentiality of proceedings and votes, to abstain from taking public positions and to decline any consultation on matters falling within the purview of Elections Cameroon.
