BELLE AMOUGOU Dieudonné was born on 21 June 1960 in Batouri and hails from the East Region.
With a Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Law, he entered ENAM in 1986 and graduated in 1988 as a Treasury Inspector.
From 1985 to 1990, he took his first steps in public administration as a contract officer at the Ministry for Women’s Affairs and the Ministry of Finance.
From 1991 to 1996, he was Service Head at the Tax Collection Unit, Yaounde and the Yaoundé Central Treasury respectively. He was also Treasurer at the Yokadouma Treasury, Inspector at the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, Service Head of Expenditure and then Inspector-Auditor at the Douala Central Treasury.
In 2001, he held the post of Accounting Officer for the National School of Public Works and the National Technology Development Committee.
In September 2005, he was posted to the General Secretariat of the Prime Minister’s Office, precisely at the Division of Economy, Budget and Finance.
In August 2013, he was appointed Deputy Permanent National Secretary of the Kimberley Process in Cameroon.
In July 2016, Mr BELLE AMOUGOU was appointed Chargé de Mission at the General Secretariat of the Prime Minister’s Office, in the Division of Infrastructure and Public Procurement.
Mr BELLE AMOUGOU Dieudonné is a superscale treasury inspector and a knight of the national order of valour. He is married and has five children.
Under two decrees signed by the President of the Republic, he was appointed a member of the Electoral Board. In 2017, he was before the Supreme Court sitting as the Constitutional Council, and in 2022 before the Constitutional Council, to take the following oath: “I swear to fully and faithfully discharge my duties and to exercise my office without fear or favour in accordance with the Constitution and laws in force, to the confidentiality of proceedings and votes, to abstain from taking public positions and to decline any consultation on matters falling within the purview of Elections Cameroon.”
