ENOW ABRAMS EGBE
Chairperson of the Electoral Board, Chairperson of Elections Cameroon
Born on 30 December 1961 at Kepelle, ENOW Abrams EGBE hails from Mamfe, Manyu division, South-West Region in the Republic of Cameroon.
Married and father of 5 (five) children, he studied at the University of Yaounde and University of Buea, where he obtained respectively: Post graduate Diploma in Political Science (1981-1984), DEA in Political Science (1984-1985), Master’s degree in Political Science (specialising in Public Administration) and PhD in Public Administration (2017-2020). In addition, Dr Enow Abrams is a graduate of the National School of Administration and Magistracy, ENAM (1985-1987). He graduated second in his class in 1987 from the Higher Military Training Course at the Armed Forces Training Centre in Ngaoundere.

In 2017, he took the following oath before the Supreme Court sitting as the Constitutional Council, and again in 2022 before the Constitutional Council: “I swear to fully and faithfully discharge my duties and to exercise my office without fear or favour in accordance with the Constitution and laws in force, to ensure the confidentiality of proceedings and votes, to abstain from taking public positions and to decline any consultation on matters falling within the purview of Elections Cameroon
