The Director General of Elections, Dr. Essousse Erik, has officially handed over the candidacy files for the October 12, 2025, presidential election to the Electoral Board. The Board’s Chairperson, Dr. Enow Abrams Egbe, received the files today at the opening of the Board’s second Session As of Right, in preparation for the election. The Board will now scrutinize the candidacy papers and publish the final list of candidates as per the electoral code.
