On 9 July 2026, a delegation from the Electoral Board, led by its chairperson, Dr Enow Abraham Egbe, was received by Emmanuel Nzete, Vice-chairman of the Economic and Social Council.

This meeting took place in accordance with Section 11(2) of the Electoral Code, which stipulates that Elections Cameroon must hold consultations with the Administration as part of the fulfilment of its mission.

By strengthening their collaboration, both institutions aim to raise the profile and promote a better understanding of the electoral process amongst economic and social stakeholders.
