The web portal of Elections Cameroon is now accessible to the public.
This information was made official on July 10, 2025, during a press conference held by the Director General of Elections, Dr. Erik Essousse, at the headquarters of this Election Management Body in Yaoundé.
The reopening of the portal comes after the completion of maintenance work that has enhanced the security of the platform. In preparation for the October 12, 2025, presidential election, this portal will give registered voters access to verify their registration details and also access to informative content relating to ELECAM and the electoral process in Cameroon.
The website contains important information about the electoral institution, including Elecam’s organization and missions, the activities of Elections Cameroon, electoral education, and voter awareness. During the press conference, the Director General of Elections, Dr. Erik Essousse, specified that the voter registration verification is based on the electoral roll updated and published at the end of the 2024 revision of the electoral registers.
He assured that those registered in 2025 will have their details uploaded to the portal after cleaning and verification.
Meanwhile, duly registered voters can verify their personal information. The website also serves as a tool for transparency in the electoral process.
