ELECAM, UN Women & partners launch a two-day training from July 27 to 28, 2026 to strengthen the electoral knowledge of women, youth, PWDs, IDPs, indigenous populations and marginalized communities. The training focuses on civic education to boost participation in the upcoming twin elections and promote a peaceful, inclusive electoral environment.

The Chairperson of the Electoral Board, Dr. Enow Abrams Egbe, was received, today, July 9 2026 by Emmanuel Nzete, Vice President of the Economic and Social Council.

Mrs. Abena Ekobena Apolline Marie, Vice Chairperson of ELECAM and Vice Chairperson of the Electoral Board, was today elevated to the rank of Commander of the Order of Valor, one of the Republic’s highest honors.

The Chairperson of the Electoral Board, Dr. ENOW ABRAMS EGBE, opened the Second Ordinary Session of the Board for the current year today, July 1, 2026, at the ELECAM headoffice in Yaounde.

The Chairperson of the Electoral Board, Dr Enow Abrams Egbe and Honorable member of the Electoral Board, Mr Nanga Charles share Cameroon’s experience on electoral matters to Francophone democracy in Namur, Wallonia in Belgium on the occasion of the annual General Assembly of the Réseau des Compétences Électorales Francophones (RECEF) from June 9 to 12, 2026.

On this day, June 3rd, 2026, the Director General of Elections, Erik ESSOUSSE, presided over the installation ceremony of the new Regional Delegate of ELECAM for the West Region, Mr. Zofoa Njoya Sake.

On this day, May 22, 2026, the Director General of Elections, Erik ESSOUSSE, presided over the installation ceremony of the new Regional Delegate of ELECAM for the Littoral Region, Mr. Adolphe KOULLE MBONGUI.
