After the reception of nomination files by the Directorate General of Elections and their forwarding to the Electoral Board, we have entered the phase of scrutiny. In accordance with the provisions of the Electoral Code, the Electoral Board must scritinise and publish the list of accepted and rejected candidates no later than 60 days before the date of the election, i.e. 19 September 2025. Notification will be made immediately to the Constitutional Council.

Pre-election disputes relating to the rejection or acceptance of candidates will be opened within two days of the publication of the candidates.
